AP Farmers Express Concern Over Falling Tomoto Rates

Tomato prices have dropped drastically in several districts of Andhra Pradesh, with tomatoes selling for as low as Rs. 5 per kg in the Pattikonda market. In response, AP Agriculture Minister Achchennaidu has directed the purchase price to be set at Rs. 8 per kg. Meanwhile, farmers are also expressing deep concern over the falling prices.
