Supreme Court Dismisses TG Govt Plea On BC Quota

In a major setback to the Telangana Congress government, the Supreme Court dismissed its special leave petition on BC reservations in local body polls. The court advised the matter be resolved in the High Court and stated that elections may proceed with the existing reservation structure. Further hearings will continue in the High Court.
