Telangana government presented a budget of ₹3.049 lakh crore for the fiscal year 2025-26. It focused on implementing its six poll guarantees. The budget was tabled by Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, which earmarks over ₹56,000 crore for these welfare schemes while planning to raise ₹64,000 crore through open market loans. The state’s total expenditure is pegged at ₹3,04,965 crore.
