Army Ex-Vice Chief Lt General S Pattabhiraman Passes Away

Former Vice Chief of the Army, Lt Gen S Pattabhiraman, passed away at 78. The Indian Army honored him as “a soldier at heart and a leader in spirit,” extending condolences to his family. With a 40-year career, he held prestigious roles, including Colonel Commandant of The Bombay Sappers and army commander of the Western Command, retiring as VCOAS in 2006.
