Thousands Protest In Manipur’s Imphal Against AFSPA

Thousands of people took to streets in Manipur’s Imphal on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. They demanded the removal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA), 1958. They also demanded the protection of human rights and action against armed miscreants in the state. The protesters raised slogans like ‘Remove AFSPA, Repeal AFSPA’ and ‘Self Determination is our birthright’.
