HAL And UAC Unite To Build India’s First Airliner

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Russia’s UAC have partnered to manufacture the SJ-100 passenger aircraft in India, marking the nation’s first airliner production since the AVRO HS-748. The project, aligned with the UDAN scheme and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ vision, aims to boost regional connectivity, strengthen the aviation industry.
