Liquor sales in Telangana have hit an unprecedented high, with over ₹350 crore recorded on New Year’s Eve alone. Amid the Panchayat polls and festive celebrations in December, total sales have reached around ₹5,050 crore. The state also generated ₹1,350 crore in revenue over the last six days, marking a historic peak in liquor-related income.
