Owaisi’s Party Fields Delhi Riots Accused In Assembly Elections

Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM announced Tahir Hussain, expelled AAP councillor accused in the 2020 Delhi riots, as its candidate from Mustafabad for the upcoming Delhi elections. Owaisi confirmed Hussain’s joining the party, while BJP’s Kapil Mishra criticized the move, accusing Owaisi of aligning with the man responsible for Ankit Sharma’s murder and other violent acts during the riots.
