HC Dismisses Challenge Against Penalty By DANICS Officer

The Delhi High Court dismissed a DANICS officer’s plea challenging a disciplinary penalty over a 2016 land acquisition order allowing a ₹3.26 crore refund. Upholding the CAT decision, the court cited delay in filing and said the officer lacked authority to reverse acquisition proceedings. It found no procedural illegality and rejected claims of discrimination.
