TN Distributor Seeks Court Protection For ‘Kingdom’ Screenings

The TN distributor of Kingdom has moved the Madras High Court, urging it to restrain NTK’s S. Seeman and followers from obstructing the film’s release. Citing alleged threats over its depiction of the Tamil Eelam issue, the petitioner also requested police protection for theaters. The case will be heard by Justice D. Bharatha Chakravarthy.
