Bombay HC Quashes FIR Against Lawyer In Rape Case

Bombay High Court has quashed an FIR filed against a lawyer, who was accused of rape, criminal intimidation, and cheating by his schoolmate. The woman, whom the lawyer had been legally assisting, had returned to Pune from the USA with her child after her marriage became strained. The court ruled in favor of the lawyer, dismissing the charges against him.
