The Supreme Court has instructed the Punjab and Haryana govts to file detailed affidavits mentioning the preventable steps to be taken to control stubble burning. This decision has been taken in view of the rising air pollution in Delhi, and people are witnessing health issues despite GRAP-III being in force. Air quality has crossed 450 in many places.
