Rescue efforts at Assam’s flooded “rat hole” mine continue as the body of 27-year-old Lijen Magar was recovered on Saturday, marking the second fatality. Nine workers were trapped on January 6 after a water surge. Despite challenges, including submerged sections, specialized equipment and divers are being used to locate the remaining miners.
