Madhya Pradesh Witnesses Decline In Wheat Production In Last 5 Years

Madhya Pradesh witnessed a decline in wheat crop production in last five years. It decreased from 371.98 lakh tons in FY 2019-20 to 328.96 lakh tons in FY 2023-24. Agriculture Minister Aidal Singh Kansana told the state assembly in a written reply to a question asked by the leader of the opposition, Umang Singhar. Wheat is one of the most important crops in Madhya Pradesh.
