J&K Government Orders Safety Audit Of Jammu Schools

Authorities in Jammu ordered a safety audit of all school buildings after heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides killed over 130, injured 120, and left 33 missing across several districts since August 14. Schools remain shut till Monday. Officials urged immediate structural safety certification from the Public Works Department to ensure student safety.
