Stock Market Close: Sensex Falls 503 Pts, Nifty At 26,032

Sensex and Nifty fell on Tuesday amid profit-booking and foreign investor selling, while the rupee hit a record low of 90 per US dollar. Sensex closed 503 points lower at 85,138 and Nifty dropped 144 points to 26,032. Most sectors declined except Pharma and Healthcare. ICICI Bank, Reliance, and Axis Bank led losses, while Asian Paints and Airtel gained.
