Goa MLA Back In Protest As TCP Act Stir Hits Day 4

Revolutionary Goans Party MLA Viresh Borkar rejoined the TCP Act protest at Azad Maidan, refusing hospital treatment after a hunger strike. The agitation, ongoing since Feb 20, opposes misuse of Section 39A to convert 84,000 sqm of Palem-Siridao tribal land into a settlement zone. Protesters also marched to TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane’s residence in Dona Paula.
