A high-speed bullet train is set to connect Bengaluru and Hyderabad, cutting travel time from the current 19 hours to just two hours. A detailed project report (DPR) for this corridor will be submitted to the Railway Board by March 2026 and subsequently sent to the Central govt for approval, marking a big boost to South India’s connectivity.
