AAP Nominates Mahender Chaudhary To Replace Naresh Yadav In Delhi Polls

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) replaced Mehrauli MLA Naresh Yadav with Mahender Chaudhary for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls. Yadav, convicted in the 2016 Quran desecration case, had been sentenced to two years in prison. He later informed AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal of his decision not to contest until acquitted. The change was announced in the party’s fifth list.
