SC Stays Calcutta HC Proceedings On OBC List

The Supreme Court has stayed the Calcutta High Court’s proceedings regarding West Bengal’s preparation of a fresh OBC list. A three-judge bench led by CJI B.R. Gavai passed the order after senior advocate Kapil Sibal submitted that the High Court was moving ahead with hearings despite the apex court already being seized of the matter.
