Russia has detained an Uzbek man accused of killing General Igor Kirillov, head of the army’s chemical weapons division, in a blast outside his Moscow apartment. The attack, claimed by Ukraine, involved a remotely detonated explosive on a scooter. The suspect, recruited by Ukrainian special forces, confessed he was promised $100,000 and a European passport for carrying out the assassination.
