Cyclone Fengal Intensifies, Set To Cross Tamil Nadu Coast

Cyclone Fengal, formed from a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal, is expected to cross the Tamil Nadu coast between Karaikal and Mamallapuram by mid-Saturday, according to the India Meteorological Department. With winds reaching 70-80 km/h and gusts up to 90 km/h, Fengal intensified at 2:30 pm on November 29, lying 270 km southeast of Puducherry.
