Six Detained For Attacking Royal Bengal Tiger In Assam

Assam police detained six individuals for allegedly attacking a Royal Bengal Tiger that strayed into the Kaliabor area. The locals pelted stones at the exhausted animal, severely injuring its eyes and vital organs. Forest officials rescued the tiger and rushed it to a rehabilitation center. Despite efforts to save it, the tiger’s injuries are grave, and its return to the wild seems unlikely.
