House Prices Surge By 65% In Many Second-Tier Cities

A report by a real estate consulting firm has revealed a sudden increase in house prices in second-tier cities across the country. Between January 2023 and October 2024, house prices rose by 65% in 25 second-tier cities. Jaipur, Agra, Guntur, Mangalore, and Chandigarh saw substantial price hikes. The report attributes this surge to lower land rates and enhanced transport facilities.
