Delhi Implements GRAP-III Pollution Curbs, ₹20,000 Fines For Violators

To combat worsening air pollution, Delhi has enforced Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). Starting Friday, vehicles violating pollution norms face fines of ₹20,000. Restrictions apply to BS-III petrol, BS-IV diesel LMVs, BS-III diesel MGVs, and certain diesel LCVs. Interstate buses from NCR states must meet specific emission standards. The crackdown aims to reduce harmful emissions.
