US Judge Dismisses Federal Indictments Against Trump In Election Subversion Case

A US federal judge has agreed to dismiss the federal indictments against ex-President Donald Trump, who was accused of attempting to overturn the 2020 election, following a request from special counsel Jack Smith. Smith also withdrew a challenge to the earlier dismissal of the case related to classified documents at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
