Potti Sriramulu: The Hero Who Paved The Way For Formation Of AP

Potti Sriramulu, a freedom fighter and Gandhian, is remembered for his relentless dedication to the formation of a separate Andhra state. In 1952, Sriramulu undertook a 58-day hunger strike, sacrificing his life for the Andhra cause. His martyrdom led to the creation of Andhra State on Oct 1, 1953, inspiring reorganization of states.
