India’s NCB launched ‘Operation Sagar Manthan’ to dismantle Haji Salim’s global drug cartel, seizing 4,000 kg of drugs and arresting Pakistani nationals. Directed by Amit Shah, the crackdown targets Salim’s network spanning Asia, Africa, and the West. Authorities call him one of the Indian Ocean region’s most wanted traffickers, responsible for a vast narcotics smuggling syndicate.
