Telangana police foiled the indefinite fast by Jagruti president K. Kavitha in Khammam and shifted her, Jagruti sources said. Kavitha began fasting yesterday, demanding justice for people ousted from a land parcel. Earlier, she held a dharna in Khammam, around 200 km from Hyderabad, supporting those evicted by authorities last month.
