Cyclone Fengal: Red Alert Issues For Tamil Nadu, Puducherry

The IMD has issued a red alert for heavy rain today in Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, and Karaikal districts ahead of Cyclone Fengal. A flash flood alert is also in place for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The deep depression over the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify into a cyclonic storm on November 27, bringing heavy rainfall to Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andhra Pradesh.
