UPI Payments Reach Record ₹27.28 Lakh Crore In October

Fueled by festive buying, UPI transactions surged to a record ₹27.28 lakh crore in value and 20.7 billion in volume in October, NPCI data shows. Annual value grew 16% and month-on-month 9.5%. Average daily transactions hit 668 million. UPI now powers 85% of India’s digital payments and is live in seven countries, marking expansion into Europe via France.
