In a setback to SpiceJet, the Delhi High Court dismissed its review plea over a ₹144.5 crore deposit in a dispute with Kalanithi Maran, imposing ₹50,000 costs. The airline cited a liquidity crisis and offered Gurugram property as security, but the court insisted on cash. Maran’s side claimed dues exceed ₹400 crore, calling the plea a delay tactic.
