Train Services Disrupted After Collision With Truck On Eastern Railway’s Asansol Division

Train services on Eastern Railway’s Asansol Division were disrupted after a passenger train collided with a truck at a level crossing between Jasidih and Shankarpur stations. The truck, carrying alabaster, entered a closed level crossing gate and collided with the Jhajha-Asansol MEMU train. The impact caused the derailment of four engine wheels, but no injuries were reported.
