Single Case Of Japanese Encephalitis Reported In Delhi

Delhi has reported an isolated case of Japanese Encephalitis, with a 72-year-old man from west Delhi testing positive after being admitted to AIIMS. Health measures are being followed according to NCVBDC guidelines, and there is no cause for concern. The virus, transmitted by mosquitoes, causes fever and, in rare cases, neurological illness. No outbreaks have been reported in the capital.
