Pastor Among Three Arrested For Forced Conversions In Bareilly

In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, police arrested Pastor Sumit Masey and two others for allegedly coercing poor Hindus to convert to Christianity through inducements and faith-healing promises. The arrests followed a complaint about illegal conversions under the guise of prayer meetings. A case was filed under the UP Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act.
