Madurai Junction To Be Redeveloped In Tamil Nadu

The redevelopment of Madurai Junction in Tamil Nadu is underway under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS), which includes new terminals, multi-level parking, and skywalks. Launched in Feb 2023, ABSS aims to upgrade 1,275 stations across India. The Madurai Junction will feature airport-like facilities, including AC waiting halls, restaurants, shops, and multi-level parking for vehicles.
