The University Grants Commission (UGC) has warned Kotla Mubarakpur Institute of Management and Engineering in Delhi for offering unlicensed degree courses, declaring its degrees invalid. Across India, 22 unrecognized universities are operating, including 9 in Delhi, 5 in Uttar Pradesh, and others in Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Ap, and Pondicherry.
