Polling began at 7 am for 38 assembly constituencies in Jharkhand as part of the second-phase election, which will continue until 6 pm. All arrangements are in place for the second phase of polls. A total of 528 candidates vying for the 38 seats. The contest is closely contested between the NDA and INDIA bloc. A total of 1.23 crore voters are expected to cast their votes in the final phase.
