The Sensex and Nifty opened at fresh record levels in early trade on Monday, May 12, 2025. The Sensex started trading today at 81205.90, up at 1,751.43 points or 2.20%, and the Nifty was at 24535.70, up at 527.70 points or 2.20%. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee was trading today at 85.42 against the dollar.
