642 Offshore Online Gaming Entities Identified For Tax Evasion Investigation

Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) has identified 642 offshore online gaming entities for potential tax evasion investigations. These entities, offering online money gaming, have been flagged for non-cooperation. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has been alerted to block the websites of these non-responsive entities as per the IGST Act provisions.
