8-Year-Old Dies, 34 Children Ill After Food Poisoning

An eight-year-old girl died, and 34 other children fell ill due to suspected food poisoning at Mata Rukhmani residential school in Dhanora village, Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh. Students complained of uneasiness and vomiting on December 8, leading to their hospitalization. They exhibited symptoms of vomiting and dysentery, with all 35 ill students later transferred to Bijapur district hospital.
