Gujarat Medical Student Dies After 3-Hour Ragging Session

Anil Methaniya, a first-year student at Gujarat’s Dharpur Medical College, died after being forced to stand for three hours during ragging. His family blamed senior students for his death. Police filed a culpable homicide case against 15 second-year students who allegedly tortured juniors. The accused have been suspended from hostel and academic activities pending investigation.
