Telangana has declared the Gurramguda forest in Rangareddy dist as a Reserve Forest, covering 424 acres and 31 guntas. After the Supreme Court upheld the Forest Department’s claim over disputed land in Sahebnagar Kalan, the area now gets strong legal protection. The government plans to develop it into an Urban Forest Park for public recreation and greenery.
