Alison Pickering, a 23-year-old Texas student, tragically died from an allergic reaction after unknowingly consuming peanuts in a dish at a restaurant. The restaurant had changed the recipe to include peanut sauce without disclosure. Despite using her Epipen, Alison suffered severe anaphylactic shock. Her family is now advocating for better communication between restaurants and customers.
