A 17-year-old Royal Bengal tiger, ‘Madhu,’ died at Tirupati’s Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park on Monday due to old age and multi-organ failure. The tiger, brought from Banergatta Biological Park in 2018, had been unwell for two months. This marks the third tiger death at the zoo this year. Previously, a five-year-old tigress and a seven-year-old male Bengal tiger also died due to illness.
