Kolkata’s Air Quality Deteriorates With AQI In ‘Very Unhealthy’ Range

Air quality in Kolkata has worsened, with AQI levels ranging from 204 to 290 since Thursday, falling into the “very unhealthy” category. This indicates health warnings for the entire population. The current levels are just below the “hazardous” category, where more severe health effects are observed. Prior to Diwali and Kali Puja, Kolkata’s AQI remained good due to Cyclone Dana’s winds.
