Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha Adjourned Amid Huge Protests

The Lok Sabha was adjourned indefinitely after protests by Congress-led ‘India Bloc’ MPs in the Parliament premises. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla announced the adjournment. A significant decision was made by referring the Jamili Election Bill to the Joint Parliamentary Committee. The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned temporarily during the session.
