UPI Hits Record 15,547 Crore Transactions Worth Rs.223 Lakh Cr

UPI has achieved a record 15,547 crore transactions worth Rs 223 lakh crore between January and November 2024, as per the Ministry of Finance. Launched in 2016, UPI has transformed India’s payment ecosystem, offering safe, quick, and easy transactions. The system’s global reach includes countries like France, UAE, and Singapore, while also expanding credit access to underserved borrowers in India.
