India Cancels Consular Camps In Canada Due To Inadequate Security

Days after the attack on a Hindu temple in Canada’s Brampton, External Affairs Ministry cancelled the consular camps in Toronto over security issues. These are routinely organized by Indian diplomatic missions in Canada. MEA said, “Our consulate in Toronto had to cancel the consular camp because they did not receive adequate security or security assurance from the host government.”
