60-Year Sentence For Man Who Murdered Indian Student In Indiana

Jordan Andrade, 25, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for the murder of Varun Tej Pucha, a 24-year-old graduate student from Telangana studying at Valparaiso University. Andrade attacked Varun with a knife in a gym on October 29, 2023, leading to Varun’s death nine days later. Varun’s family, devastated by the loss, did not attend the virtual court hearing.
